Business planning and forecasting is probably the most important financial task the client will need. They need to understand the future profits and cash flows that the business will generate so that the proper levels of funding and support are in place.
Cash flow can “make or break” a business and the importance of cash flow generated from profits and the capex required by the business is an essential part of the financial planning process.
We aim to work with the client in assessing the business sales and pricing methods and the underlying operating costs. This enables an understanding of the business model and the creation of the financial plan. Working within plan will enable both the correct understanding of profits generated and the impact on cash flow.
The client may have requirements for capital investment and may wish to plan for longer term capital growth and the eventual sale of the business. The financial planning process and longer term strategic plan are essential in achieving those goals.
